Easter Sunday

“… Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve.”
1 Corinthians 15:3-5
This Sunday we celebrate Christ’s resurrection from the grave and his victory over sin and death. We rejoice in that day when the power of God shook the earth and the grave stone was rolled back revealing that Jesus had indeed risen!
Our time together will begin earlier than usual as we will be serving breakfast before the service starts. So please be sure to arrive before 10.30am, and enjoy some food and the blessing of time spent in fellowship.
During the service, pastor James Pope will preach from God’s word. Take some time beforehand to read Luke 24:1-8 which will help focus our thoughts on the events of that momentous morning nearly 2,000 years ago.
