What is love? That's the question we're going answer this year in our Easter series at Bechurch. Each Sunday for the next 4 weeks we’ll look at a different thing that love does.
We are hoping to have services in-person at Bourton Meadow Academy and we will also be streaming live from there to our YouTube channel. Search YouTube for “bechurch” or simply watch via bechurch.org/live. Service tickets can be booked via Eventbrite and links will be updated regularly and sent out via our weekly email (subscribe here). All other details and links can be found below:
Love Promises
We see that love promises in the vows of the wedding ceremony or in a commitment between friends. But can promises made hundreds of years before Jesus was even born show us real love in the Easter story?
Love Speaks
‘Talk is cheap’ they say, but we know words have power, power to build us up or knock us down. As we continue to think about the question ‘what is love?’ we’ll think about love that speaks and ask, can the words of Jesus Christ spoken 2 thousand years ago show us real love now?
Love Acts
Join us as we get ready to remember Easter week, we think of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. What is he doing there? Is he being rightly punished, failing or is this the greatest act of love ever?
Love Wins
Are the movies right, does love always win? Join us this Easter Sunday morning as we think about the empty tomb. Is it victory and does it show us what love really is?
