University Students
Buckingham is home to a private University and we try to be as helpful as we can to students who choose to worship with us.
We aren't the closest church to the main campus area - it will take you about 25 minutes to walk from the university to where we meet - but if you're willing to put in that effort you'll discover that we are very student-friendly. Come along and you'll be guaranteed that someone will invite you to their home for lunch after the service.
Being away from home is always difficult and just having a friendly person to chat with over lunch can be a real lifeline. With this in mind we are also considering holding a "friendship lunch" once a month specifically for students who haven't quite found their feet and would appreciate meeting others in the same boat. If that's something that would appeal to you please speak with Paul Stanbury. Paul can usually be found driving the University minibus around town in the mornings and will often greet you as you arrive at BEChurch.
If you're studying at the University of Buckingham (or at any university) we strongly recommend getting involved with the Christian Union. It's been our experience that you'll not just meet other Christian students studying at the same university as you but you'll meet some who will become lifelong friends. If you're not studying at Buckingham, use the Find your CU search tool on the UCCF website.
