Volunteer
If you're a regular attender why not volunteer to help with one of the service areas at BEChurch?
Some people think that churches are run by the pastor. But one person cannot physically do everything that needs to happen to keep a church going: there aren't enough hours in the day! Besides, the Bible is clear that doing everything isn't what the pastor or elders are to do - their role is to preach and teach others to make more disciples for Jesus.
So how does a church keep going? In several places the Bible describes the church as a body with different limbs and each limb does what it has been designed to do. When that happens, the church body works as it should.
For example, in Romans 12:4-8 we read:
4 For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, 5 so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. 6 Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, in proportion to our faith; 7 if service, in our serving; the one who teaches, in his teaching; 8 the one who exhorts, in his exhortation; the one who contributes, in generosity; the one who leads, with zeal; the one who does acts of mercy, with cheerfulness.
So get involved, and if you're not sure where you can start just ask someone who's already helping. And while you're at it, have a chat with one of the elders about becoming a member of the church.
